Happy Mother's Day!

So it's another Mother's day, and it seems like every year, the next one comes sooner.  In fact, I'm not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if mothers were sneaking in this sucker every 6 months.

But, after all, everyone has a mother, so it's deserved.  Especially around here.

For those of you that know my wife, you know she is pretty amazing.  She is always on the go, always taking care of us all, always providing good food and a real home for us kids.  I'm pretty sure we could survive for a while without her, but I think the kids would get tired of cereal and cheese for sustanance.  And I'm pretty confident state services would be called in by day 30 by someone who is concerned about my kids.

It's the little things.  You know you hear stories of 10 year old kids who have never gone to school?  I think it has to do with the fact you have to sign your kid up for school somehow.  That involves paperwork, I think.  Truthfully, I don't know anything about that, and honestly, without Heather, that could be my kid.

"Lunch."  What??  "Matching clothes."  Huh??  "Check...Book"  Come again?  "Being presentable in public."  Doesn't ring a bell.  "Brushing teeth."  Totally lost me here.

This is a long way to say that my kids mom is the best around, none better.  What better testament is there than your kids always asking, "Where's Mom?"  Seeing them light up when she comes home.  It's the ultimate report card. And Heather passes with flying colors.

And what should you expect.  After all, I chose her...first pick in the draft.

Now, back to things I know best, stinking, itching, and mowing the lawn.

Happy Mother's Day Heather!

Colby, I could rad your writings forever. You somehow make something sappy sound cute and funny. You should author some books.

Anyways, I agree, Heather is amazing. As my big Sis, she has mothered me for years and I have been very lucky to have her to learn from.
