Morning Munchies
Wednesday, September 3 | 5 Comments The other day I was sitting at my vanity doing my makeup when all of a sudden I heard the clacking of cereal in a bowl. I took a second listen and sure enough it was cereal being poured into a bowl. Then as I was about to yell, “what the heck is going on in there?” Brielle yells, “don’t worry mom I’m getting Cooper and I breakfast today so you can have a little break.” My heart sank, I was a little proud because I mean how sweet is that, but I was also thinking I am going to feel so bad when I have to beat her for spilling the milk all over the place. So I quietly tip toed out and looked around the corner to see what was going on in my kitchen (not really sure if I really wanted to see what was going on in my kitchen), but what I saw was nothing more than a miracle. Cooper and Brielle were both sitting nicely eating their cereal and there was NO mess. I sure did train them well. My kids are growing up and it is bittersweet. They can finally do stuff for their self, but on the other hand I miss my babies. At least they still like to hug and snuggle, will they still like to do that at 18 and 20?

I love that you post about small but cute events that happen throughout your day! They do grow up to fast! Maybe we should have Brielle give Rylee a few lessons on making breakfast for her and her brother!
