amazing race- happy birthday chasers
The other day was Chasers (my nephews) 11th birthday. His parents planned the ultimate birthday party. It was a 7 hour amazing race scavenger hunt complete with a trip to Burger King to get crown, the mall to do several activities there, Bahamas Bucks to get paper umbrellas from the shaved ice, a trip to Freestone park for a grass toboggan relay and pizza, a backyard race (in my backyard), wall-e-ball, swimming, and don’t worry they even had time left over for cupcakes and presents. Can you believe it? Chasers you better thank your parents, they sure love you.
Anyway, since Erin and Jason do so much for us to help out during our kids parties I figured me helping out is the least I could do, so we had a backyard race in my backyard. It was great. I set it up while they were doing their other stuff and then 9 kids came over to participate and have some fun. The stations included; finding the gummy worm in the whipping cream, popping balloons with pin hats, eating mystery foods, filling a cup with frozen peas while using chop sticks, eating a doughnut off the string not using your hands while laying on your back, and last filling a 2 liter soda bottle full to the top with cooked spaghetti noodles. The kids really had fun and tried their hardest. My kids even had fun helping them.
This was a really fun day and I am so glad we were able to help and be a part of Chases special day. We sure love you, Happy Birthday Roo!

Heather and Colby - THANK YOU for helping us pull it off. I still have not fully recovered from the planning and the actual "party". It was a cool party and I was waiting for MTV to show up to film it as a "My Super 11", but i guess since we didn't give him a Mercedez or a Range Rover, it was a no-go. We have an awesome pic of Cooper that we will have to get to you.
