Twas the night before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas and all thought the house not a creature was stirring not even a… okay so lots of creatures were stirring and we were trying to stir fast so we could all get into bed so Santa could come, but we just had to get a few things ready first like Santa’s Cookies, those are a priority you know.

This year I made one of our favorites sugar cookies.  They are so yummy, but time consuming.  Good thing Erin and her family stopped by for a bit to help do a little decorating and I had two elves (Cooper and Brielle) helping me make and decorate the whole entire time!  They actually turned out way cute and Santa loved them, he ate all of them that we left out and maybe even some extras.  Naughty, Naughty Santa.

After we did our cookie decorating it was time to do our yearly tradition of opening PJ’s and ornaments.  The kids always love that part.  They are still wearing last years (or I guess two years ago) PJ’s.

After the kids quickly opened up their stuff and got dressed it was time to brush teeth and run to bed so Santa could come.  The kids were extra excited this year. Especially Cooper.  He just couldn’t wait for Santa to come and bring him a Skateboard.  Sweet dreams kids see you bright and early in the morning.
