Our little girl is growing up…

From a cute little cubby monkey to a beautiful young lady, our little Elle is growing up. I can’t believe that on Friday Brielle turned 6 years old. It is hard to believe that we have a 6 year old. It makes me feel so old… Uggggg!!! But so worth it. On Friday when I woke up and remembered it was Brielle’s Birthday I was overwhelmed with emotions! I couldn’t believe that 6 years ago I was actually delivering my first baby girl, I remembered thinking am I going to be able to do it, will I be a good mom, what will she look like, how will she act, what will her personality be like, etc. Boy have I got my questions answered. It has been so fun learning about my little Elle. She has so many wonderful qualities that make us just love her to pieces. Here are SIX reasons I love my Brielle…
1. She is a leader and loves to make friends
2. She is outgoing and fun to be around
3. She cares about others especially her brother
4. She is a go getters and will accomplish anything she puts her mind to
5. She is happy and loves to smile, dance, and sing
6. She is a smart cookie
There are so many other reason I love Brielle, but these are the main SIX!!!

For Brielle’s Birthday we decided to keep it small this year, which was kind of fun. In the morning we headed to Krispy Kreme Doughnut for a free dozen doughnuts. Super yummy and a super good deal, FREE!!! Then we decided to do a Hannah Montana theme in the evening and invite a few of her closest friends (Aubrey, Reagan, Olivia, Maggie, and Kinley) to go to the dollar theaters and watch “Hannah Montana The Movie”, so cute! Finally, we headed across the street to good old Chucky Cheese for some pizza and fun. It was great cause I didn’t have to do much. The kids played for a bit, ate, did cake, and finally opened presents. We really had a good time just taking it easy. Thanks Hannah and Chucky for doing the work for me! No really Brielle had fun just hangin’ with her closest girl friends, while I enjoyed time with Colby and my sister, Erin.

I can’t believe my sweet six year old is growing into a beautiful butterfly! She is so super sweet and wonderful and we just love her more and more everyday!
